#TheCool: 2013

#TheCool is ready to put an end to 2013 with a look at the week that was as we always do. This has been an interesting year for me in all facets. Good, bad, ugly and everything in between. I've learned a whole lot and I'm ready to take that into 2014 and make something happen with that. With 2013 being what it was for me is that I wish I had done a lot more but I can say I did something and there are plenty of folks who can't even say they even did that. I know I need to get back in focus and take advantage of my opportunities more to make things happen. I don't know if it can be but I'll give it my best damn effort and that's all I can really ask of myself.

Speaking of wishing is that I wish I had played enough games that actually came out this year to formulate a top 10 but since I didn't play a single game that came out this year to even make one I won't. I actually had this same problem last year when I tried and all I remembered from that list was telling you guys to play Rokko-chan & Abobo's Big Adventure. This year's list would technically be to give any game a shot I said kind words about this year. Maybe this is something to strive for in 2014. I highly doubt this happens but I'll give myself the benefit of the doubt and say that I can if I will it so.

The thing is however, when you strive with all you have is that creativity is born! In this case we'd be speaking of finally saving the world of Subcon by beating Super Mario Bros. 2. I wanted so bad to get this video out before the end of the year and the momentum and hype I feel for doing it is going to make for some interesting stuff dropping over this way. I'd stay tuned.

With that, This Week In Gaming For The Final Time In 2013!

Flip Bucket still dropping characters and this month it's Seal. I really want to get back into FB in 2014. A fun game I had fun with for a time. I know my account still works because I log into it when the new character drops so my account doesn't get pruned like it did before so on the off chance I want to play it I can because it's so hard to get into it now because all the hookups dried up. Maybe it comes to MURICA at some point. Seems like something that could be on the #XBONE because of the deals in place with M$ in China. You never know.

Profound Sadness Time and on this installment is all about SB4's Limited Edition Version. Got mine pre-ordered. If you're interested in the game then just buy it. Seems like the only way you'll be getting it.

Another Persona Q trailer that introduces more questions than it ever planned to answer anyway.

My gaming is still prep for 2014 matters and hoping to get something done before the clock strikes 12 my time. We'll see if it gets done.

Everything is on break this week for one reason or another except for MLP and Flutterbat which is now a thing for some reason or another. The hiatus for everything but MLP did give me the free time to finish up Dekaranger and I'm sad that I don't have anymore to watch. Everything about that show was awesome and I see why it gets the praise it does as an excellent Sentai to watch. I'd suggest you doing the same. I have no idea what I'll be on next but I suffice I can get another good show in before everything gets back to normal.

I really need to get back into reading the manga I dropped to fill in some of this downtime as well. Mainly Freezing because where I dropped it was at the start of a new arc so on the upside it'll be fresh to me when I get back into it proper. And Bleach & Naruto are doing Bleach & Naruto type things. Just wanted you to know.

Now a segue into This Week In Gaming! If you can call this that.

At some point in time after I left you last is that there was a Nintendo Direct. And while there was no news about Bayonetta 2 is that there was the announcement of a Zelda Musou game with the working title of Hyrule Warriors. Yes, that was a sentence of truth you just read and yes I'm hype as fuck! GIMME NAO! I'll be watching this title very closely to see where this goes.

A little deeper into it Nintendo decided to rom hack my childhood with NES Remix. It seems like a great concept that I hope is successful and is followed up with more of this. A must when I get my WiiU.

Then Mario Kart 8 showed up and did nothing more than show off an airport so I guess this was a thing.

When the Nintendo Direct was finally coming to a conclusion was that there was a small hiccup with the stream and when it came back there was Kirby who for some reason appeared in Rainbow Road and I was like "Oh shit, Kirby's in MK8!!" which was then shot down with Luma coming out of nowhere. At this point the trailer made no sense until BEST PRINCESS ROSALINA showed up and I realized I was watching a SSB trailer and then I watched and realized that Rosalina & Luma are new Ice Climbers which then made me question the fate of the awesome Popo & Nana. Regardless of such Rosalina & Luma seem to be a different take on the team mechanic that the Ice Climbers introduced. Rosalina & Luma seem to have a twist that makes it seem that Luma functions as Rosalina's stand as it where. All we have is this video and this theory is just theory until proven different. I do have to say that I'm hype for this. I've been trying my best to temper my hype & expectations because of the DOJO overload for Brawl. I didn't want to go full blackout but I don't want to be up at 2AM stalking a website either and I think how I've been handling it all is a nice balance so I have something to enjoy when the game comes out. Whenever that is.

A bit after the last installment was out there for you was that the launch trailer for Drag-On Dragoon 3 dropped and now the wait for MURICA begins. Just a so you know, if you want a physical copy of the game then you'll need to get to SquareEnix's website to pre-order it. Other than that you'll still be able to buy it digitally. Can't wait for the game regardless.

Dead or Alive 5. There are more costumes for you to buy and not featured in the video is the Santa outfits for the Ultimate characters are also available as well. And Arcade will be out on the 24th and #DoaGHThaDOJO will be all over it so be sure to stay tuned for that when it drops.

J-Stars Victory Vs. dropped a new trailer but the only thing that matters here is that there's a limited edition version similar to the one for Battride War where it came with additional music you can use for battle. There's a list somewhere but here's the Cliff's Notes from my view. The game does have GO!! from Naruto, Asterisk from Bleach, CHA-LA-HEAD-CHA-LA from DBZ & Smile Bomb from Yu Yu Hakusho. It doesn't have Heart of Sword from Rurouni Kenshin & Bloody Stream from JoJo's. All the rest of the music is just there. Maybe they'll more. And there's no "paid" DLC but doesn't rule out DLC entirely. Should be fun to see who they can slip in there.

More characters have been confirmed for Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny. Astaroth, Nighrmare & Pyrrha will be ready to battle for souls or something like that. I still need to play SC5. Will I? Stay tuned.

We got some new trailers for Persona Q which do confirm a minimum of 2 storylines featuring Makoto from Persona 3 & Yu from Persona 4. I wonder how this will affect for story and gameplay for each character and will the game offer anymore?

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z will be out soon but the demo is out now and if you're planning to buy the game is to play the demo to get stuff in the full version when it does come out. I'm starting to warm up to it as a possible purchase later on.

Mecha Naruto? Mecha Naruto. This is a thing. Why is it happening? Don't know. Don't get it. Won't inquire further.

Tekken Revolution finally got its 1st new character that was chosen via a fan vote being the vampire locked in Lili's basement and possibly her other girlfriend sharing her with Asuka (previous is Head canon canon)is Eliza. She comes equipped with Reppukens and can suck the essence of her opponents to make her titties bigger. TEKKEN BEING TEKKEN! She looks mechanically sound for not only this game but if they decide to update Tag 2 or any future game. If they actually do is another story entirely. I wonder if more characters from that vote mainly Sexy Tekken Force Girl (GDSD) and Shin Kamiya?

Me myself is that I didn't do too much actual gaming as much as some prep to hit 2014 hard. I want to execute on this for reasons soon to be understood or researched by you to figure out why. We'll see.

As far as what I watched this week is that while all my other stuff is on vacation and all the usual suspects are holding it down is that for some reason I ended up 30 episodes deep in Dekaranger. I'm really enjoying it this far in and it is interesting to remember what episodes SPD took on and how they did it especially a storyline in particular which makes more sense that I've seen it from this side of the fence. I did see a couple of wild references in Dekaranger that made me laugh so hard. Go find out what those are for yourself. Tune in next week and I'll give my Final Judgment Time on it all. Expect positive things to be said.

With that being said time for This Week In Gaming!

We still don't know character number 5 quite yet even though people are starting to think Decapre is going to be the 5th. And even with that theory it could any one of the dolls. They said at Capcom Cup that they'll be revealing it soon in "some special way" so all we can do is wait. In other news, this game has a KoF like 3 on 3 mode for online and online training as well. Not that I'll be taking advantage of any of this but great for those who will.

Toukiden is coming to MURICA soon. The long & short if you're not familiar is that this is TecmoKoei's take on Monster Hunter. And given the great work on the Musou games this should be something if you're interested in those games then you should take a gander at this.

Been a good week for Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z. Got a couple of trailers including a throwback to the classic games with the Ninja Gaiden Z mode for the game. Some pictures of Miss Monday floating around. And it'll be a Mighty No. 9 costume for Yaiba which should be interesting to see in action. Game's out on March 4th!

Time for you to play Samurai Gunn. Pick it up on Steam or on the Website. Either or, put it on your to do list and gather 3 friends and prepare to never talk to them again. It's that type of party.

Just a reminder. Marvel 3's gonna die. So looks like you wasted all that time wishing for a patch that'll never come! 7 MORE YEARS!!!! TAHSUU BAYBEE!!! The game's being delisted so check whatever marketplace you deal in and wait for the fire sale. I'm still waiting for some confirmation on if you buy the pack with all the costumes for Ultimate do the 6 from Vanilla go backwards? I'll probably be answering that myself. Make sure to know that the PS3 & Vita are Cross Buy so buy it on one and you get it on the other. By time the next installment comes around I'll have something concrete to my concerns about this.

As for me though I didn't do anything that was actually forwarding what I was supposed to do but I can say that Wall Jumping & my Mockball technique are a lot better. Horizontal Shinesparks though, we're still in the lab on that front. I need to get back to taking care of SC2HDO. I got the Platinum in it but unlocking everything in the game is something that needs to be done so I can write that postmortem I planned to do 2 weeks ago. It'll happen when it happens. I have some other things I need to do like updating some programs and acquiring some new tech for 2014 so we can hit that running. Stay tuned.

As far as that other stuff I indulge in is that yeah, Arrow is the Undisputed Champion of TV at the moment. That last episode brought that heat from beginning to end. And Vampire Diaries which also brought the heat is that everything is on a break until mid-January. There's still Kill la Kill, MLP & Super Hero Time to watch & Naruto & Bleach to hold me down reading wise. I'm super deep into Once Upon A Time so that'll be taking care of my needs until stuff returns or until I've fully caught up. The latter will happen first. Trust.

Got a chance to check out Gaburincho of Music and I have the same problem with it as I do all Sentai & Rider movies which is that they need to be longer so they mean more especially when they're a part of the canon of the shows in the majority of cases to have more of an impact. It just seemed a bit rushed toward the end when just a bit more time would've made it better. Still enjoyed it anyhow and it'll be a shame when it ends because this could be my favorite Sentai so far when its over. Tokyuuger is another subject entirely and will be judged when it drops in February.

A while back I told you the equation of anything + Ponies has a very successful chance of being great. Combining the dystopian feel of Papers Please & the land of Equestria seems to work in this non-game. As in this doesn't exist. Yet! Give the fandom some time. Somebody will make this real. They will.

Shouts to everybody's favorite Pegasister reviewer, Kimi Sparkle! I have to say that using Kimi Sparkle to bring Friendship is Witchcraft to fans without actually doing so is really genius. Sherclop Pones say they'll be getting back to that work soon but I just had to give props where due.

DashieXP & Nightmare Cinemas are back with another MK Rap Battle. These are always hype so prepare to laugh.

#WriteDatReXXX: Youtube's Dystopian Future

With all this YouTube hoopla and now this being and issue in my yard now is that what you're about to read is my thoughts on it and how this affects you, me and how business is done.

The game is this now. Everybody who deals in Video Game content is being affected. Those you love to enjoy & those you enjoy to hate. The reason this is even happening to a lot of those previously mentioned is because the networks that people partnered with protected you from this kind bullshit by being the wall in between it. This isn't something new because ContentID has always been broken from the jump but YouTube doesn't give 2 squirts because it allows them to "police" and say we're doing something about the issue without actually doing such. Also with most contracts in anything always has a nice clause that allows the entity creating it to alter how the deal works at anytime and all these ContentID matches you're hearing about are a nasty consequence of this change in partnership.

The thing's this. The magical answer I've seen bounced around a bit is rage against the YouTube machine and go somewhere else or create something new. This isn't the answer. Or not even a Band-Aid on the issue in the slightest. Regulation of this issue won't stop at YouTube and anywhere else you think you could have safe haven to do what you're doing now is nothing but a pipe dream at best. YouTube has the monopoly and no entity is toppling that anytime soon so stop wishing for it. Your energy could be better served elsewhere. Or prove me utterly wrong and make it happen.

To all those affected who are partnered and thinking of leaving your partnership should really rethink it first. Leaving your partnership and going back to where you were before you signed that contract is a bad idea and here's why. With this change everybody is on an even playing field when it comes to monetizing content. The wall I mentioned earlier is gone everywhere and breaking that contract won't change that fact. There are still enough upsides to staying where you are mainly because YouTube doesn't give you all the tools your network may provide you with. The only way you even think about doing it is if where you're going next will give you that protection you once had and not a lot of places while this hoopla is going on is granting that type of asylum now if not ever again. Be really careful about your options. Review your contract. Know where you stand. And make the choice best for you.

I went back and looked at the contract I signed when I got on with my network and I learned plenty about their stance on it. Which is they're not breaching contract by sending people out to the wolves. I sent my stern e-mail to get some official answers but I already know what time it is. I gotta say for all the prep work I do is that this was one possibility I never saw coming but as I always tell you is that "Knowledge is Power" and this is no different. I will say is that I've enjoyed what partnering my channel has done for me overall but if what that means is changing is that I need to see some change as well. I want to get it worked out and stay where I am but if the one reason I sought partnership isn't an option then why in the hell am I staying? It was never about the money for me because I'll always get that. It was always about protecting my work in all facets even the one where a Taiwanese TV company says they own Marvel vs Capcom 3 footage. I always find my way out of a jam so I'm not worried. What's happening is going to change how things work so the reminder of "Knowledge is Power" is the key. Learn where you stand and bunker down. This is going to be a war of epic proportions.

I never want to alienate anyone who reads but these are my thoughts & feelings and they do come first. I never mean any harm intentionally but I just write I feel and whatever happens, happens. There was VGX this weekend and I ignored it but I did learn stuff. There's no such thing as hope when it comes to Nintendo. Tired memes are tired. Internet celebrities should stay on the internet. Through all of this though Telltale put in that work!

Want to press the A Button and smack the shit out of Joffrey. You can now! Game of Thrones by Telltale. Press LB to throw shit at Joffrey. I can't wait!

And Borderlands is getting the same treatment. To be honest though I'm not into the narrative seeing as I missed everything 2 had to offer as of now. Could change but it's good to see a great developer get all this work. Congrats to you guys!

Super Time Force is coming to #XBONE now! Hopefully there's some crossbuy action seeing as this may be the last great game outside of Strider coming to the 360 via XBLA. Good to know the game's still coming. Can't wait!

Time for MURICA to get this DanganRonpa action. Just take my word on this one. If you have a Vita keep this game in mind when it drops if you're in to Visual Novels & games like Phoenix Wright. Delivers. Trust.

EDF 2025 is coming in February to MURICA! I should've just imported this one earlier this year. If I waited this long then a bit more won't harm me.

Kamen Rider: Travelers Senki will be out soon and I'm rooting for hackers to do dirt on the 3DS so I can play it. Bought Senran Kagura Burst yet? Just reminding you. And still nothing about a new Climax Heroes or Battride War. But I think with how Gaim is at this point I think the CH games are going to reset with Gaim but if the Naruto games can have 100 characters then so can Kamen Rider. We'll see and I'll stay hoping.

Doa5U has some new costumes. More of these casual costumes and the Warriors Orochi costumes for Kasumi, Ayane & Momiji coming tomorrow. So be watching for those.

Remember how the PS(Insert Number Here) versions of MGS 5 have you on a throwback mission. Well the 360 & #XBONE versions are going for the new new. Their exclusive is a mission with Cyborg Raiden. Why? Why? Why? TIME PARADOX! And there's a look at one of the game's early missions as well. Watch with caution.

This week I discovered Freedom Planet. All it took to sell me looking into it was that this game was Sonic if Treasure made it. So I gave it a try and this game is awesome and I expect everybody to give it a go too. You can do that by going to their website HERE!!! DO DAT SHIT!! Not going to lean on you too hard because the game sells itself. Can't wait for the game to drop whenever it does. #TeamCarol

Other stuff, I finished Weapon Master Mode in SC2HDO. Took a lot longer for reasons that I'll share sooner than you think. I randomly got into some Fate/Unlimited Codes on PSP and I wish to play that version with an arcade stick even though with the changes to the system is that it works on PSP just fine. #TeamRin #TeamBazette

All that stuff I watch & read every week is getting good. But that's how it should always be. A couple of things though.

Everything else is doing the work required and with shows gearing up for a break I'm really going to make an attempt to get some marathons in of shows that I've wanted to get into and shows that have been suggested that I watch. All of these however are taking a back seat to Once Upon A Time. Nothing else gets the marathon love until I'm fully caught up on it. Shows has its hooks in me officially. It's that damn good and this is another plea to give it a try if you haven't.

#TheCool: Slowest Of Slow Motions So Far

#TheCool back up in it ready to do what it does and it's been a wild week. And With no next-gen consoles to talk about or major news that affects me is that we'll get right into PT.

Slowest motion week in history and all I can bring you is P4U2 hype. I'm serious. The above is the extended trailer you saw last week but this one is narrated by Yukari & Junpei explaining their roles in the game and the overall plot.

Then there was the opening movie in HD. IN HD! That's a thing.

I have to say I've been enjoying watching all the match footage. Watching the original being played at high levels made it something I'd always take the time to tune into via match footage or a tournament stream. This game has already hooked me into wanting to watch more and watching this game evolve from a Day 1 process. I really want this interest to lead into exploring the game more which was something that I've admitted to not doing after my initial experience with the original game on consoles. We know the game is dropping in Japan this Summer so I may get my import work up and get it for the head start in making an attempt to explore the game. And maybe I'll finally scratch that itch to get into P3 & P4 in all the ways you can.

And to prove the slow motion that last week brought is all I have left to offer you is the newest character for Flip Bucket...Blast! In that game now that nobody plays anymore because you can't because FOREVER BETA!

During the process of bringing #TheCool to you is that we always have moment for Profound Sadness with a new trailer for Sengoku Basara 4 featuring some new NPC characters in Kyōgoku Maria & Ashikaga Yoshiteru. History given is that the upgrade version will have these 2 as playable characters when that comes. I'll wait.

Gaming wise for is that I've been deep in SC2HDO trying to make my way through Weapon Master Mode. And I'm playing it in a way I've never have before and it's pretty fun. You'll have to wait for those details though because I feel like sharing that information.

Because of Thanksgiving in which I ate good as always is however in trade for that is that the majority of the usual suspects took the week off however what was available did deliver. Mainly The Originals, Kill la Kill, TMNT & MLP:FiM. The Originals stays going nuts. I told y'all ages ago to get on that KlK. TMNT's 2nd season is going harder every week and the new episode of MLP was LOLworthy in the best way.

Naruto & Bleach are just chugging along with the announcement that Naruto will soon be ending. I'll believe it when I read the last panel for myself.

#DoaBHReviewEdition: Soul Calibur 2 HD Online (XBLA/PSN)

This may be the easiest review I've done so far seeing as we're talking about the Super Pretty Internet Enabled Edition of one of the greatest fighting games ever which just so happens to be a sequel to one of the other greatest fighting games ever!

For $20 you're getting the 75% MURICA Console Version Experience of SC2. Which means every single legitimate playable character who was in any version of the game except for some version of Link. You'd think as much as I research these things I'd have an answer for you but I don't. And surprisingly enough the internet is arguing this. When they get an answer I'll let you know.

Anyway, this is a must get and a reason to retire your PS2 & OG XBOX versions of the game for the most part. If you search around you can still get some cool out of the original versions via some hacks & custom costumes for the OG XBOX version if that floats you. You'll be wanting to hold on to your Gamecube version however until the possibility of the WiiU version being the version that features all of the guest characters and the reason some people are holding out on buying what's available now.

The one thing I do want to applaud Namco on is not having everything unlocked from the jump or a way to purchase all of that stuff. Unlocking the majority of the collection items are attached to achievements/trophies so it does incentivize doing it the old school way. Which I did 3 times on all 3 systems over the span of the console versions existing. I would've appreciated a mode that temporarily unlocks everything mainly for tournament settings and casual romps which more games should do.

The game looks sexy, feels great and I heard good things about the netcode so your investment should pay back in your enjoyment of a classic!

The only "complaint" if I can even levy it as one is that the Dual Audio didn't make the game and there's no way to access by the usual means of switching the language of your system as you can do with other games. I'd assume that this was a space saving measure but having the option should've been available. Not having such a feature doesn't take away from the overall package but some would use not having JP voice overs as a reason to skip the game entirely and it does also explain why I spent 5 minutes looking for the option and never finding it. From a historical standpoint is that this is one of the 1st games I remember actually having the option to choose. Not having it just happens to be a small compromise for all the good the game does overall and maybe if you make enough noise it'll become DLC & maybe featured in that WiiU port the streets want so badly.

If you're going to cop it on my word then please do. If you're waiting for a discount then I pray for you to have paitence until that time arrives. Either way, BUY THIS!!! Soul Calibur 2 is a masterpiece of a game and I'm happy that more will get a chance to experience one of the genre's best even better than ever!

THE TALES OF SOULS & SOULS WILL HOPEFULLY CONTINUE IN SOUL CALIBUR 3 HD ARCADE EDITION ONLINE! As long as Capcom shows love and lets Dante get in as it should've been and KOS-MOS as an official guest character! NAMCO, PLOX!! And having it be a hybrid of the console & arcade versions wouldn't hurt either. #TeamLiLong

#TheCool: Princess Twilight Sparkle's Killer Instinct Persona

#TheCool as usual ready to take the lead and show you last week from the only view that matters...MINE!!! 168 hours of goodness that's ripe and ready for the recap. So if you're ready then so am I!

Just as last week we talked about the release of the #PSQUADRUPLE we now take some time to talk about the #XBONE release and my thoughts of Next-Gen can wait for a while still ring true...except for my wanton need for Killer Instinct. The thing is that I know that if I had the cash I could see Killer Instinct being that game that justifies that purchase. Even then however there's the additional things like getting a new TV because both systems are HDMI only now. Getting a new TV however is something that should've been done years ago and it may be time to do that seeing as both systems aren't perfect out of the gate which always justifies my wait and all those issues with the RROD & my issues with both companies on other issues are things that I do take into consideration. Simply put is that if I had to choose one to get now it would be the #XBONE just to play Killer Instinct! End of the day is that I'll have them all. I'm just waiting for Smash & Bayonetta 2 on WiiU before I go out and get one. And the #PSQUADRUPLE needs an actual game worth playing before I consider even worth the purchase. Never thought after all of that I'd at the right now want an #XBONE before a #PSQUADRUPLE! This is a reality that is the reality at the moment. Should be interesting to watch this "war" play out.

Speaking of "wars," PT's here and I haven't done something but #DoaGHThaDOJO is always providing crack. Been a slow motion week but we always strive to provide what you need. This week...

Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code V1.07, Under Night In-Birth EXE:Late & Project Justice are what you can get cracked out on this week. This'll be another catch up week and we'll have a new game on the channel as well and we'll be talking about said game in a bit.

For now let us get into This Week In Gaming!

I'm so glad to see my hype for Killer Instinct not only come full circle and see that people are enjoying the game. When this was announced at E3 is that I went nuts and my hype in overdrive with no evidence of the final product and I did so with no care in the world. I still haven't played the game and I don't see that happening for a while yet so if you get it then enjoy it one time for your boy. The other side of all this is Spinal & Fulgore will be joining the cast for the 1st Season of content and more content depends on how the game is supported with money. So support it with money. Simple.

If you ignore Persona news then maybe you didn't know that there was a countdown that ended yesterday that actually delivered news about the series. The 1st part of that news that Ultra Suplex Hold will be in arcades on the 28th and #DoaGHThaDOJO will be covering the game as soon as matches are available so be sure to keep an eye out and will be on PS3 next summer.

Persona 4 Dancing All Night. It is what the title describes it to be. It works like the Hatsune Miku games. What songs from the series and if other games in the series will be included is unknown at this time.

Persona Q: Shadows of the Labyrinth is the chibi crossover game you may or may not have wanted. Mainly the P3 & 4 cast have been confirmed and if it is canon to any series is unknown as well. Seems interesting anyhow.

And the big boom announcement of Persona 5. A very cryptic trailer that hints to the game's core values but nothing other than that. I'll be keeping an eye on it.

Been a big week for Ultra Street Fighter 4 with the first Loke Test and the release of some videos that show off the Supers & Ultras of the 4 new characters. It was good to see that Capcom remembered that Final Fight Revenge exists and Elena has Healing as an Ultra. Will be no reason not to play her in Double Ultra mode unless Brave Dance is just more powerful solo. I'm getting more excited for the release of Ultra as more is found out about the changes and new features. We'll see if this feeling stands when it comes out.

YOU BOUGHT DAT AQUAPAZZA YET NIGGA!!!???!?!?!?!!? If you didn't then I suggest you do or else...

Same can be said for Saint Seiya: Brave Soliders. Only if you want to however.

DoA5U has a new costume pack with casual clothes for some of the characters with more packs to come later on and Marie Rose is coming to the console versions but when that is the case is unknown at the moment.

EF-12 is finally out in English and you can get your hands on it via Playism! Have fun creating shit and share it if you want!

Question of the week. How does a shooter gets retooled into a Virtual Novel? Liberation Maiden Sin looks to answer that question very soon on PS3.

Time for our Profound Sadness Moment with Sengoku Basara 4 and we're getting closer to this party becoming a reality. Learn about leveling and how the warriors make their way to the battlefield.

While this installment was coming together the 1st trailer for the new Deception game dropped and its looking pretty good. I'll be keeping an eye on it as well so stay tuned for more.

As far as how I got my gaming in is that I finally got over that Marvel vs Capcom: Origins bug which then led to me playing some KoF '95 (O. Rugal, Iori & Terry) during a long ride somewhere this week. I was able to try some of those wild combos I see when I watch match vids of the game. Pretty cool feeling if I do say so myself. I wonder will I ever be able to get into those games that I really want to?

As you see by our title is that MLP is back for Season 4 and after wondering how they would handle this Princess thing is that the fact is that they handled that Princess thing. They've set up this season to be really interesting and the possible promise of the same old, same old not being what this season is about at all. When the smoke clears at the end we'll see if I feel the same way.

The usual suspects are doing what they do with South Park, Revolution & The Vampire Diaries standing out this week. Not to say everything else isn't doing work but those 3 in their way are doing the job of keeping me entertained and I just wanted to let you know of these events because that's what we do here or something like that.

I've gotten deeper into Once Upon A Time and it's damn good as well. I'm glad my choice of getting into it is paying off and it doesn't seem to be falling off anytime soon. At least I hope not.

#TheCool: PSQUADRUPLE'S Radiant Heroic Harmonic Convergence Of Life & Hometown

#TheCool's back to our normal Monday schedule!!! Took a bit to get here BUT DAMN IT FEELS SOOOOOO GOOOODDDD!!! Anyhow, I know you're just as ready as I am to see the last 144 hours from my point of view so let us do that.

I guess we can tackle our title this week seeing as Next-Gen is "officially" here with the PS4 dropping last Friday. And after doing my research & watching the Giant Bomb stream is that I'm glad as usual I skipped launch. To be honest I've never been involved in purchasing stuff at launch before and that's not changing anytime soon. The last time a launch looked good enough to be a part of Day 1 was the US PS2 Launch mainly because of Tekken Tag & Street Fighter EX3. Thinking about launch lineups is that they never have anything to justify what they're asking for anyway and while I could buy a shiny box to stare at is that same money could be invested in something else. Which is something I'm planning to do anyway. More when it happens. I'll be getting a PS4. When it's worth getting. As far as the #XBONE is concerned is that you'll have to wait for the next installment of #TheCool to hear my thoughts which you can easily guess at. Gotta give you a reason to tune in next time.

I do want take the time to welcome back an old game that was and will continue to be a stable in the goodness always brought to you...Melty Blood!

Now Melty Blood & I have had a weird relationship when it comes to providing goodness. When I still uploading match videos to the main channel is that MB was something I always striven to have a home for no matter what until SEGA came knocking around the time Vanilla Actress Again came out in Arcades and went to town on those videos stopping me from doing my other work. So I complied with what they wanted and took the videos down and stopped mirroring them. A while back I wanted to get back into uploading MB but I saw that the hole I left was filled by multiple people and I appreciated that so I let them do what they did and focused on other games that needed the attention. I recently found out that a lot of those same people I left it to stopped uploading matches for whatever reason and this prompted the response to bring it back and give it a thriving home again. How long this will continue is anybody's guess. As long as SEGA doesn't come near & those who were doing it continue not to then I will! So welcome back Melty with open arms. It'll be here with us for a while. Please enjoy!

Speaking of Soul Calibur is that Lost Swords just finished its 1st Beta and I haven't seen anything about it and the game shall be out soon. And Sophie's back so I can hold out hope for Cassie. We shall see.

If you waited to play Injustice is that now you pick up the game with the majority of the DLC. Quite a deal if you're getting into it or the $10 upgrade for the PS4 version. Time for that MK10!!

Some things. Full Boost comes out on the 30th of January. The Nobel Gundam is God Gundam's Boost Assist which probably means I'm forever playing Next Plus on PSP to get my Allenby fix. This is a sad day. A very sad day. But Allenby & Domon do HEAT END!!! So...kinda sorta forgiven?!

I playfully weighed in on the Snake VA controversy when it was a hot button issue but this exclusive PlayStation Deja Vu DLC is just turning the knife and that I can admit. I appreciate the thought but maybe a bit too soon. I haven't really heard too much backlash about it but I haven't gone looking either and I won't. I will assume that the same people that were salty before are salty now. And there's a peek into how missions change depending on the parameters as well. That's worth a look too.

And while this installment was being written was some wonderful news has come to us. X & X-2 HD will be dropping in MURICA on March 18th. The thing is that there isn't any confirmation on if or when the Vita version is dropping so I'll be awaiting that news as well. Looks like I know when I'll be back to my Rikku motif. AWESOME!!!

I didn't get into too much gaming on my own this week other than this weird urge to play Marvel vs Capcom 1 which I'm still trying to get over. And to think it all started because I needed to charge my controller to play Xenosaga 3. We'll see how long it lasts.

When it comes to what I watched I will say after Korra was back and forth that the finale brought the heat and I'm so ready for whatever is next for the show. And whatever that shall be will be good. This part for the record is what the 3rd part of this week's title is referencing.

Everything else is going as hamster as usual with what they do. I wish I could tell you more about how The Originals, Revolution, The Vampire Diaries, Kill la Kill, Kyoryuger (2nd part of our title this week), Gaim & all of Animation Domination is doing work but you'd know this if you were watching it too. This is a thing that happened!

I have some marathons that await me and I might be able to find the time to fit those in. I hope. You'll know when I do.

#TheCool: Full Power Critical Mass 3000

#TheCool back up in it on this Tuesday and it'll be the final Tuesday edition because I'm back to normal working conditions!!! HURRAY!!! To quote someone famous, "YOU JUST GOTTA BELIEVE!!!" I won't go off the deep end and say crazy shit like, "I believe in humanity" or something like that because I'm staying cynical. It's just me! You're reading the thoughts of THE CHAOTIC NEUTRAL! You've learned something new today. Anyhow, I'm just happy & blessed to have things in normal working order so I don't have to go through the craziness to do what it is I do best. So be sure to at least check it out because a free game for a single costume is a great deal I do have to say.

This is Final Exam which is a sequel to the ObsCure games and from what I've seen is a great beat-em-up that you may want to check out when you get a chance.

Hatsune Miku is coming to the Vita in Project Diva f. More Miku, More Stuff!

Soul Calibur 2 HD is out next week but for now enjoy Ivy vs Nightmare.

The DLC for Muramasa Rebirth is coming out in Japan soon which means it coming to MURICA soon as well. Took long enough!

Legend of Raven is coming to the PS4 & #XBONE with GGPO at some point. Why? Seeing as this is the old version of the game you can readily get on PC for less that $10 and enjoy it right now. Do that. Do that.

Allegedly we'll get some answers to this cryptic trailer this week. I'll keep my thoughts to myself until some official confirmation comes.

Aquapazza is next week so this trailer should ease you until you get your fix next week.

The extended version of the Highschool DxD trailer because I know you want it. Still don't know how the actual game works but when Rias Gremory is involved is it really that important? Didn't think so.

Because of the what used to be a problem was I didn't get a chance to get some gaming in but this'll be changing this week. So far all I've done is randomly play Regulation A because I wanted to make sure my PS2 was still working and it is. Very well so. There's a game I'm currently researching that I'll be sharing soon and now that we're back to normal working order is that I'll be getting to finish SMB2 if my schedule wishes to work with me. Let us hope!

I was able to catch up on all the usual suspects however I did pick up another show I'm in the middle of a marathon in Once Upon A Time. I heard about the show but didn't pay attention to the advice and I'm nice and deep into the story and given the premise is very good. Luckily for me there's plenty for me to watch to catch up so I'll be in and out of this for awhile.

Super Hero Taisen Z. The SHT movies are filled with so much promise but it seems to always comes up short. I enjoyed watching it but I know it can be better. I enjoy the crossover team-up premise but it needs to be more honed in and focused to make it better. The end of the movie is setting up something but what that happens to be we'll find out in a couple of months.

In mentioning the usual suspects is that nothing is letting up and because of spoilers I dare not mention it because you should be watching it too. There are some shows I need to catch up on and I hope I get a chance to fit it all in. Will this happen? Tune in next week and find out!

As you can see with this lovely screencap, I'M OVER 3000!!! 3,021 as this is being written! This happened Saturday night and I'm so proud. I know in truth numbers are as only important as the emphasis we give them and I know that it'll always be quality over quantity but I'm proud of my growth and plan to keep growing and I'm blessed to have those who support me & what I do right there as I do that. You'd be surprised at the weird milestones I screencap for screencap reasons. I may need to get around to sharing those soon.
